When the program starts to "lag" — it's not always a bug. In 99% of cases, the problem is in the database: it's overloaded, cluttered with outdated data, or working inefficiently. To restore system speed and stability, we offer database maintenance.

This is a technical service: our specialist remotely connects to the server where the EasyCeiling database is installed and performs a series of optimization tasks.

What maintenance provides:

  • Speeds up database performance and, consequently — the entire program.

  • Reduces server load and improves interface response.

  • Eliminates "freezing" when opening orders, reports, and other operations.


Important before starting: make decisions

Maintenance may include deleting old data. This will help speed up the system, but it's important to understand the consequences:

1. Deleting old orders

You can delete orders created before a certain date.
But be careful:

  • If you have the "Calculation" module connected, dealer debts may "shift."

  • If you use the "Warehouse" module with reservations — there may be reserved items in the database that cannot be released.

2. Clearing ceiling history

History is data that is recorded, for example, when writing off goods.
If you delete it:

  • Some reports (for example, on component sales) won't be able to show data for the deleted period.

We will always consult with you on what's better — to delete or keep.


What's important to know

Maintenance doesn't solve all possible performance issues.
It helps if the cause is an overloaded database.
But if it's something else (low RAM on the server, poor internet, broken router) — separate diagnostics will be required.


How to prepare:

  1. Check that your internet connection is stable and fast enough.

  2. Make sure you have access to the database server — with administrator rights.

  3. Download and install Anydesk.

  4. Provide the specialist with your workstation number in Anydesk.
