Installation and Configuration of MS SQL Server for EasyCeiling

To use the network database of EasyCeiling, a properly installed and configured MS SQL server is required. We take care of this for you.

MS SQL installation and configuration is a service where our specialist connects to your computer and performs all the necessary work to launch EasyCeiling in network database mode on MS SQL Server.

💡 We also offer a separate service — cloud database rental: in this case, the database is stored on our servers, and we are responsible for its availability, stability, and performance.

What the service includes:

  1. Installation of MS SQL Server Express.

  2. Initial server setup: security parameters, services, access.

  3. Router setup: IP address reservation for the computer with the database.

  4. Creating a new or transferring (conversion) the current EasyCeiling database (if this option is included in the order).

  5. Connecting EasyCeiling on this computer to the MS SQL database.

  6. Connecting EasyCeiling on another computer in your network — to check network access to the database.

What to prepare in advance:

  1. Involve your IT specialist responsible for your computers and network in the preparation and setup.

  2. Decide on which computer the server will be installed. Computer requirements

  3. If transferring an existing database is required, prepare it.

  4. If you need database access via the internet, let us know.

All computers are connected to the router via cable (Ethernet), not Wi-Fi.

  1. The router supports IP address reservation.

    If not — it will need to be replaced. We recommend:
    TP-Link Archer series 6 or higher (A6, C6, C64, C80, AX12, etc.)

  2. Prepare the login and password for the router's admin panel.
    Or — reserve the IP for the server computer yourself.

  3. Make sure the internet is stable and fast enough for remote connection.

  4. Download and install Anydesk.

  5. Provide the specialist with the Anydesk workstation number.
