Status bar

The status bar is located at the bottom of the window

The status bar displays the current perimeter and area for the ceiling and for the order, as well as the ruler control buttons.

If scraps is not configured, the information for the status bar is considered on-the-fly.

If scraps calculation is enabled, to calculate this data, you must select the invoice and, after construction, switch to the "Cut" or "Print" tabs.

Answers to common questions

"The area/perimeter is not counted in the construction" or "The area/perimeter remains from the past ceiling."

Most likely you have the trimming calculation enabled, it recalculates the data when you go to the cutting or printing tab. Disable scraps calculation if you don't need it.

When the "area in order" in the status bar is recalculated.

  • Open the order file. The area of the loaded order counts.

  • Open the ceiling file. The area of the loaded ceiling does NOT count.

  • Duplicate ceiling. If the ceiling area was not calculated - the copy will also contain 0. If it was - the copy will contain the same value as for the calculated ceiling.

  • Changing the ceiling drawing. The ceiling area is recalculated and displayed.

  • Changing the texture. If trimming calculation is enabled - it recalculates. If off, it does not recalculate.

  • Seam change. It does not recalculate the area.

  • Switching to another ceiling in the order or to another order. Does not recalculate.

  • Changing the scraps settings - does not recalculate.

When "Total Area" is displayed in the status bar.

  • If scraps calculation is enabled - switching to the Order Information or Basic Drawing tab automatically removes the total area display.

  • If you switch to another ceiling/order and back again - the area display will disappear.

  • If you change the drawing - the area is recalculated and displayed.

  • If you change the texture twice - the area is recalculated and displayed.

  • If you change the seam - the area is recalculated and displayed.

  • If you switch to the "Cut", "Art Print", "Additional Forms", "Calculation" or "Print" tab - the area is recalculated and displayed.
