Projector card in LaserHelper
Open the card: Settings tab → Projector list → + (new) or ✎ (edit).
Initial fill-in during installation: Installation and preliminary setup. Below is a field-by-field reference.

Edit projector
Field numbers on the screenshot may differ from the current program. Use the field labels. In the current card the fields are grouped into blocks.
Projector settings

1. Projector name | How the device appears in Current projector |
2. Table length along X | Table width, cm |
3. Table length along Y | Table length, cm |
4. Used for structures | Projector for structures only, not regular ceilings |
5. Connection method | USB / Radio module / Wi‑Fi |
6. Projector IP / COM | IP for Wi‑Fi, radio COM, or USB COM |
7. Projector SN | Serial number |
8–9. Sleep mode | Turn the beam off after pause or idle |

12. Temperature compensation | Not recommended since 2025 |
13. Enable mirror correction | Removes distortion caused by mirror geometry |
The scanner COM port must not match the projector COM port. If the log shows «used by the projector», assign different ports.
