Working with Texture and Harpoon Catalogs

To work with the program, you need to fill in the directory of textures (films/materials), as well as the directory of harpoons.

Texture Catalogs

In the drop-down list of program settings, select "Open the directory of textures...", a window for editing the directory of materials will open.

For the correct operation of the program and all its functions, it is important that both the catalogs of textures, and the textures in them, and the colors in the textures are created.

New material

To add a new material, you need to click the “Add” button (with the plus sign “+”); a window for entering data about the material will open.

Do not forget to correctly specify the texture type, this may be important when working with the new function that displays the first letters of the canvas type on the projection.

To delete a material from the reference book, select the corresponding texture and click the "Delete" button (with the minus sign "-"). To change an existing material, select the texture and click the "Correct" button (the icon with circular arrows), the window shown in Figure 2 will open. The reference book is divided into two parts:

  1. a list of textures

  2. a list of colors for the texture selected in the list.

Color

Each texture must have its own set of colors.

Available for ART-ceiling - this setting must be set to the colors of those textures that are available for your ART-printing.

For ART ceilings, you can prohibit the selection of specific textures by unchecking the box next to “Available for ART printing”.

If the texture is not available for ART printing (the box is unchecked), a message will inform you about this when you go to the “ART ceiling” tab in the main program window. ART printing cannot be applied to such a texture.

Apply discount in calculation - This setting allows you to apply a discount in the calculation , if configured, to the current color of the selected texture.

Keep track of business scraps - this setting must be enabled if the color of the selected material is used to keep track of business scraps.

It is possible to set a color for the "Color" value of the texture, in which the ceiling will be painted in the future for a visual demonstration to the client, this is especially relevant for multi-texture and ART printing , where it is important to show the client how the combination of texture colors or a picture printed on a colored texture will look.

Harpoon Catalogs

To open the harpoon directory, you need to click on the button with the list of harpoons in the “Order Information” tab:

In the window that opens, you can add, delete, and change the selected harpoon.

When you click on the “Add” button, a window will open in which you need to enter all the necessary data about the harpoon.

Do not apply shrinkage - if the checkbox is checked, then shrinkage will not be applied to this harpoon.

Without harpoon - if the checkbox is checked, then the ceiling with this harpoon will be considered "without harpoon".

If you work with the production journal, it is very important to set this setting correctly. If the harpooner scans a ceiling where the harpoon has this check mark ("No harpoon"), his work will not be added to the production log, since the program will consider that there is no harpoon on the ceiling, and therefore there is nothing to harpoon.

Combination of several harpoons - enables the ability to combine harpoons.

Special price list - If you work with price lists, you can specify a special price for each harpoon.

Set special shrinkage - you can set a special shrinkage for each harpoon by specifying it in this setting.
