🖼️ ART Ceiling, ART Print - placing an image on the ceiling

ART Ceiling, ART Printing - is an optional feature that allows you to place images on the ceiling and upload a template for the printer on which a high quality image can be dimensioned for printing on the ceiling.

Setting the texture color

In order to use the ART print function, you need to create an order and ceiling in the program, specify the texture and color that will be available for photo printing, and click on the ART print tab.

How do you make color available for photo printing?

Before starting work with photo prints, check if the selected texture color can be applied to the photo print. This color MUST have a check mark “Available for ART Ceiling”.

If you don't have it, you should:

  1. Open the texture directory and select the desired texture.

  2. Select or add the texture color to which the ART print will be applied.

  3. In the color edit window, check the “Available for ART Ceiling” checkbox.

Uploading an image

After opening the ART print, we can add an image for our ceiling. To do this we need to click on the “Upload” button.

The program may ask you to select the method and type of photo print for this ceiling.

Methods and types of photo printing

Photo printing methods:

  1. Printing on the front side of the fabric

  2. Printing on the inside of the fabric

  3. Printing on both sides of the fabric

Types of photo printing:

  1. UV printing

  2. ECO printing

  3. UV printing with whitewash

Once you have selected the type and method of photo printing, you will be able to upload an image for the ceiling.Instructions for working with the image in ART printing

Change the scale and position of the image:

The uploaded image will be added to your ceiling. It can be scaled and moved as you want using the area that highlights the image.

Crop the image:

The image can also be cropped using the button that appears when the image is uploaded. If you click on it, a window with the image editor will open, where you can select the area you want to leave.

Rotate the image:

The image can be rotated by clicking the corresponding button on the toolbar.

Binding the image to the corners:

The image can be tied to different corners or to the center of the ceiling.

Center the image:

Duplicate image:

Delete the selected image:

Apply ready-made solutions catalog:

Lock/unlock the image:

The “Lock” button locks the selected image so that it cannot be changed, moved, scaled or deleted. To unlock the image, simply press this button again.

The “Release All” button unlocks all locked images.

To save the finished ceiling in .svg or .jpeg, you need to click on the corresponding buttons in the program on the “ART Print” tab:
