✍ Manual contouring - manual contouring from the image

If you often work with designer ceilings that are already drawn in special modeling programs with all proportions preserved, you can use the "Manual Construction" function.

The function allows you to load a designer ceiling image in BMP or JPEG format, trace the contour of the ceiling part you're interested in, and specify the size of only one of its sides (maximum segment). The algorithm will calculate the remaining sides and necessary diagonals automatically.

Description of working with points when constructing a contour:

  • Add after – when clicking the left mouse button, a new point will be added after the specified point, the last point can be changed. In this mode, it's possible to modify already added points by holding the left mouse button on an existing point and moving it;

  • Delete – removes the point that was clicked with the right mouse button;

  • Change – allows moving the point where the left mouse button was held;

  • Clear – will remove all added points.

  • Bezier Side – allows forming a curved side. Separated sections can be saved as separate ceilings

  • Bezier Cutout – allows forming a closed contour inside the ceiling. Separated sections can be saved as separate ceilings

  • To apply the function, you need to click the "Apply Construction" button.
