🏭 Production module for cutters - modified interface of the production program
An additional module for production, designed to simplify the program interface in the workshop, allowing only work with ceilings that need to be manufactured.
It differs from the basic module "Production Journal" in that the list of orders for cutting is located directly in the program, whereas in the production journal, already printed forms are scanned.
How to work with the production module?
In order to open this module, you must have authorization enabled and a “Production” user added, for example a Shaper. Then, when the Shaper (Production) logs into the program, he will have his own production module interface open.
Production employees can ONLY see orders with a status of “New” or “In Progress”.
The module for a production worker would look like this:
To take your ceiling to work all you need to do is follow a few steps:
Select a ceiling in the database. Ceilings with the status “New” will be shown here.
Select the workers who are working on the ceiling.
Click on the “Take to work” button and the program will open a printed form. After printing the ceiling will be removed from the list with statuses “New” and the program will automatically change the status of the ceiling to “In Work”.
To see which ceilings are currently “In Work”, you can click on the corresponding button on the top panel:
When the ceiling is ready, it should be selected in the list of ceilings “In work”, add the harpooner who worked with this ceiling and click on the “Ceiling ready” button. A print form will open and after printing the ceiling will switch to the “Ready” status and disappear from the list of ceilings in the production module.
Additional features
Updating the list of ceilings
Orders that are created in the program may not immediately get into the production module, as the database needs time to update. To make this process faster and easier we have 2 buttons that will help to update the list of ceilings.
Manual update. If you click on this button, the list will be updated and new ceilings should appear in it.
automatic update. It is not always possible and time to update the list manually. For this purpose there is a button “Update by time” in the module. If you open the drop-down list of this button, it will set the auto update time. You can set 120, 60 or, for example, 30 seconds, and the module will update the database by this time and check if there are new orders in it.
Module settings
There are several settings for printing in this module. You can specify them in a way that is more convenient for your production.
For example, you can choose not to specify performers on the printout, or you can print a production form instead of a customer form for the finished ceiling.
You can find the settings by clicking on the corresponding button in this module:
