Warehouse is an additional feature that allows tracking textures, goods, and harpoon. It enables receiving and writing off inventory. Goods tracking is available when the "Cost Calculation" feature is connected.

The warehouse also allows returning goods to the supplier and provides the ability to enable automatic write-off of film and harpoon.

How to work with the warehouse feature?

  1. Receiving Goods – materials (for example, film, harpoon, components) are entered into the system in batches with specified characteristics (texture, color, price, etc.). This allows tracking receipts for each item.

  2. Working with Cost Calculation – when creating an order, the user has access to materials and goods already received into the warehouse: for example, you can specify a specific roll from which the write-off will occur.

  3. Writing Off Goods – when printing a production form or completing an order, materials are manually or automatically written off from the warehouse. There is also the possibility of canceling the write-off if an error was made.

  4. Transfers and Returns – you can transfer goods between warehouses, as well as process returns to the supplier or from the client. This is important for tracking balances and correcting possible discrepancies.

  5. Working with Balances – the system does not allow writing off materials if they are not in the warehouse. There are also reports on balances and unwritten-off ceilings, which helps control warehouse accounting.

  6. Scrap Trackingbusiness scrap tracking is available, which can be reused, separately from the warehouse. The program automatically suggests them when creating new orders.

  1. What to do if a batch was incorrectly received?

    EasyCeiling has strict accounting - therefore there is no possibility to edit a batch that has already been received. There are 2 ways to resolve the situation:

    First and simplest - write off and receive the goods or film again with a note that there was an incorrect batch receipt. But in this case, you will need to keep this fact in mind to correctly interpret the warehouse receipt-expense reports.

    Second - if you make database backups, you can restore a version of the database where the erroneous receipt had not yet occurred. Our additional module "Backup Master" can help you with this. YouTube

  2. Can I enable auto write-off, if we don't work with scanners / production journal?

    Yes, if automatic write-off of film and harpoon is enabled, it will automatically occur during regular write-off (Clicking the "Write Off Material" button) on the "Print" tab or when printing a production form, if the corresponding setting is enabled:
