Automatic Write-off of Film and Harpoon
Auto write-off.
Available starting from version 1.57 in the production journal.
Available starting from version 1.58 in the program settings.
The production journal now allows you to enable automatic simplified write-off of film and harpoon when scanning an order. To enable automatic write-off, you need to activate the corresponding setting in the production journal or in the program settings.
With simplified write-off, the film is written off from the "first available" roll, without selecting it manually.

Automatic write-off of film and harpoon from the warehouse will occur during regular write-off on the "Print" tab

or after scanning the ceiling barcode in the production journal.
Write-off in the production journal will only occur if the ceiling is moved to the "Ready" status. If the employee barcode specifies this status, or if it is not specified (then it defaults to "Ready" status).
If the write-off fails, a window for manual write-off will appear on the Print tab, and an error will be displayed in the production journal.
How the roll is selected for write-off:
If the user logged into the program has a default warehouse for film set, the write-off will occur from there. If not set, it will use the default (general) warehouse. The same applies to harpoon—it will be written off from the default warehouse.
If auto write-off is specified somewhere, the program will try to write off film from the manager's warehouse specified for the user in the user settings and will not display a window for auto write-off.
If there is already a started roll in the warehouse, the write-off will occur from it. Otherwise, the first unopened roll is used.
If the roll has two layers, the write-off occurs from the one with the larger remaining balance.
If there is not enough film of the specified color, and an alternative texture is specified for the ceiling, the program will search for and write off from the alternative texture.
Automatic write-off in the production journal will occur only if the ceiling is moved to the "Ready" status when scanning. If your employee barcode specifies the status "In Progress" or "Shipped"—then auto write-off will not occur.

After scanning and write-off, a corresponding message about the completed write-off will be displayed.

Regular Write-off in the Production Journal

Auto write-off and regular write-off are interchangeable settings. If regular write-off is enabled, then when scanning the ceiling, instead of auto write-off, a regular write-off will be performed: a window will first appear to select which roll to write off the film from, then which warehouse to write off the harpoon from.
